Tips on maintaining peak performance from Diatrim pneumatic air tools.
Filtered air and lubrication is necessary for all pneumatic tools.
Purchase a good quality filter, regulator, and lubricator set from
your air tool supplier.
Filter:
Will remove dirt, moisture, etc. from air.
Regulator:
Should be set at 90-100 P.S.I. (NOT HIGHER).
Lubricator:
Should be filled with good quality air tool oil (SAE5). Set lubricator to release
3-4 drops of oil per minute into airline to tool. Compressor air should enter filter
and exit to tool from lubricator.
Properly lubricating your air motor can extend tool life up to five times.
- Air hose recommended: One size larger than inlet thread on tool.
- Air hose length from lubricator to tool should not exceed 30 feet.
- Maintain air pressure between 90-100 P.S.I.
